My only reservation with this strategy is that beside Kendrick being a pedophile or a woman beater, I don’t think people care about dirt. Kinda why Push Ups fell flat. Everyone has bad first deals.

I think we’re just looking at the past with the bias of current events, I really doubt Kendrick had a whole secret bigger Drake diss as part of Like That cut. MAYBE a few more little lines

I think Kendrick is great by the way. I just think Drake raps better. I’m not naive in thinking that Kendrick isn’t creative enough to win this though.

I just think if Drake doesn’t over think this, he wins.

Drake made control personal. If Kendrick expected him to take this as just competition, that’s pretty dumb of him. I think Kendrick believes he has no skeletons. Maybe Drake knows something he doesn’t even know.

Kendrick really is at a disadvantage when you think about how this could turn out.

Drake is much more the megastar. Kendrick could bully him around and drop some nuke on him and he’s gonna be perfectly fine regardless, as we saw with the Pusha beef.

Kendrick is the rapper’s rapper tho. To all the “traditional” rap lovers, Kendrick should take down Drake no problem. So if he somehow gets humiliated in all this, I think it’s gonna hurt his image.

I think the idea we both mean here is that sure Kendrick wanted to send shots with it but he might not have realised Drake would’ve done a whole track and do all this 20v1 stuff about it, there’s no way Kendrick believes he has nothing, whatever Drake has he must know about… but then again Ego goes a long way with these artists even Drake made Duppy Freestyle despite what he thought Kanye / Pusha might’ve known.
