I have somewhat similar opinion. I think Drake easily has more at stake as his hip hop community respect has been getting attacked and hammered down. A loss to Kendrick might mean all of it’s gone. I don’t think Drake is gonna get any notable amount of respect from winning unless it’s some crazy diss that wins it all. I think if he wins, he’ll get put on the undisputed top in the game (at least amongst the post 2010s hip hop artist), but with some reluctance regardless. Drake would also regain some of the respect he lost after Pusha beef, but he’d still have the ghostwriting thing above his head.

Kendrick on the other hand: if he loses, people will be disappointed but again, immediately just go “Kendrick’s albums are better who cares about losing a beef?”. Another set would flat out refuses to recognize Drake winning in any capacity, but those would most likely be Stans. If Kendrick wins, he gets more respect again as hip hops chosen hero, but everyone expects him to win and wants him to clown Drake. It would be a “obviously he won!” Situation. It’s also important to emphasize that for some fans, this isn’t about finding out who is the top of the big 3, it’s about Kendrick embarrassing Drake and Cole and the fans getting to laugh at them.

Also, anything short of Drake winning by a landslide would have Kendrick still winning up. Which I mean, if Kendrick scores a 89, and Drake scores a 95, Kendrick will still be hailed a winner because it’s close and bias amongst the community will win over.

I agree completely. They're both competing at the top of their game so this could very well end up being close.

But if we talking nukes and ballistic missiles, and both are aiming to end the other, I think it's more likely we'll end up in a situation where this ends in a landslide. Whether one of them bows out, or an OG like J Prince or Dr. Dre steps in to kill the beef is anyone's guess.
