    Well from the looks of things, it seems as though neither parties feel their disses are detrimental because I would imagine if you feel like you have some heat, you would drop right after the opposing diss.

    The ONLY exception, which is only kinda, is meek vs drake, but thats because meek literally started it, pumped up how much he would stomp drake and drake did 2 tracks

    nothing else has been similar and that situation is unique

    50 always built the tracks around a moment either a mixtape, a single, or an album - which again - took time

    Also, the mediums of delivery have changed drastically. So the argument you're making about what was necessary due to the limitation of access in the past no longer exists.

    Even in half the conflicts you listed, those guys actively participated in the beef constantly, especially a rapper like 50 or Game who would constantly be on radio, releasing freestyles and "unofficial" tracks, as well as leading up to big drops. It got to the point where 50 would even make vlogs every day to keep the beef going. It was a unilateral entertainment experience.

    You can't get mad at the people's expectations in the evolution of the genre lol. Idc when he drops, but if its a popular narrative in the battle, clearly someone does.
