Kendrick & J Cole podcast would bite them in the ass having to hear them talk unrehearsed and on the spot about social issues

The nigga posted one poem on IG and you're acting like he's MLK now, relax Noname's tweet couldn't even be construed to be about Drake, that's how seldom he's discussed social issues throughout his career

No, I didn’t say anything about Drake. I don’t think in general people would expect Drake to get political or discuss social things for the most part.

However with Cole and Kendrick, since their music and legacy is tied around talking about social issues in the black community obviously they’d constantly have to talk about it in a podcast and whatnot. Going in depth with a discussion about it off the top of your head with no second thought vs. writing a song that is made over months, with a crew of people involved, and listened to by your label before being released are different things. Neither of them are exactly public speakers, they barely ever do interviews or talk in public.

In this era people literally trip over your words not being phrased right for 10 seconds so eventually they’d get into some sort of drama or backlash imo

Nicki’s Queen Radio worked for her because she is politically incorrect af and doesn’t care + her rabid ass fan base eats it up.

With a name like Kendrick/Cole who’s image is tied around speaking so “eloquently” and having being woke on issues it would be so easy for a podcast like thing to go wrong for them

the one who was a actor and hosted award shows

  • I’d be more interested in a Cole podcast
