Slingshotkendrick never been that type of artist to break down his s*** word by word and search for hard bars
he always been a feeing type of artist, he says simple/weird s*** that gets stuck in your head and goes harder for feelings than any other rapper I know. he’s not even really lyrical like that imo
so knowing that it’s weird to do that with his control verse because it’s more about the moment/feeling that was captured in everybody hearts when this dropped than the lyrical prowess of dude’s verse
It’s just that, you can look back at it, take out the name dropping and the moment itself, the verse can be a***yzed past that
