"Archaeological evidence of Jesus does not exist.
There is no definitive physical or archaeological evidence of the existence of Jesus. “There’s nothing conclusive, nor would I expect there to be,” Mykytiuk says. “Peasants don’t normally leave an archaeological trail.”

“The reality is that we don’t have archaeological records for virtually anyone who lived in Jesus’s time and place,” says University of North Carolina religious studies professor Bart D. Ehrman, author of Did Jesus Exist? The Historical Argument for Jesus of Nazareth. “The lack of evidence does not mean a person at the time didn’t exist. It means that she or he, like 99.99% of the rest of the world at the time, made no impact on the archaeological record.”

Questions of authenticity continue to surround direct relics associated with Jesus, such as the crown of thorns he reputedly wore during his crucifixion (one possible example is housed inside the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris), and the Shroud of Turin, a linen burial cloth purportedly emblazoned with the image of his face".

Even though this website isn't indicative of the populous, I think we're doomed as a society. The majority of the ppl (which my stats come from interactions on this website TODAY) cannot read and/or comprehend what they've read.

Do yourself a favor and please validate the Egyptologists. Listen to what they have to say and find out how they make a living.

Same article: Jesus was a peasant and like 99.9% of the world’s population, he left behind no archeological evidence

Remember this debate isnt about Jesus being the son of God but if he actually existed as a human

Look up Josephus. He was Jewish and Roman so he had every reason to deny
Jesus existing. But his writings confirm that there was in fact someone named Jesus who was crucified for being King of the Jews

That's all it took for you to be like that's it, bro was a peasant. How did he learn reiki? what part of the world was he born and where did they practice that technique? Where did he travel? And if he was a peasant why is his life documented? Even the portion where brodie left the city for a decade plus

Yes and there is no evidence to prove he existed. I'm not saying he didn't exist but the first written records of Jesus is from Christains long after his "death"

    Here's your quick google search

    amp.theguardian.com/world/2017/apr/14/what-is-the-historical-evidence-that-jesus-christ-lived-and-died

What did non-Christian authors say about Jesus?

As far as we know, the first author outside the church to mention Jesus is the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus, who wrote a history of Judaism around AD93. He has two references to Jesus. One of these is controversial because it is thought to be corrupted by Christian scribes (probably turning Josephus’s negative account into a more positive one), but the other is not suspicious – a reference to James, the brother of “Jesus, the so-called Christ”.
About 20 years after Josephus we have the Roman politicians Pliny and Tacitus, who held some of the highest offices of state at the beginning of the second century AD. From Tacitus we learn that Jesus was executed while Pontius Pilate was the Roman prefect in charge of Judaea (AD26-36) and Tiberius was emperor (AD14-37) – reports that fit with the timeframe of the gospels. Pliny contributes the information that, where he was governor in northern Turkey, Christians worshipped Christ as a god. Neither of them liked Christians – Pliny writes of their “pig-headed obstinacy” and Tacitus calls their religion a destructive superstition.
Did ancient writers discuss the existence of Jesus?

Strikingly, there was never any debate in the ancient world about whether Jesus of Nazareth was a historical figure. In the earliest literature of the Jewish Rabbis, Jesus was denounced as the illegitimate child of Mary and a sorcerer. Among pagans, the satirist Lucian and philosopher Celsus dismissed Jesus as a scoundrel, but we know of no one in the ancient world who questioned whether Jesus lived.

I know about him and what they said but nope it goes deeper than that. The fact that his origin story was stolen from several different theologies, while concurrently being cemented during a period of unrest and colonization to blend the perceived Polytheism to a Monotheistic society to where the Romans could facilitate salvation in their own image.

I actually feel like he didn't go in enough detail or show remorse about the cheating tbh. 4:44 title track is like a punch to the gut, you have the illusion of this power couple torn apart and Jay Z gets more personal than we've ever seen him. "You risked all that for Blue, You did what with who?" is an example of him realizing how badly he f***ed up

Kendrick talks about cheating on the wife he's kept hidden from the public eye until now, excuses his cheating with non-sequiturs and then blames his cheating on his mother being sexually abused and slavery He doesn't really own up to or take responsibility for his mistakes enough on the album imo

What the f*** are you talking about?
He literally talks about using lust as a way to cope with his friends getting killed etc and he also talked about his wife in a way where u felt bad for her and about how she tried to help him with his addiction
Nothing Jay-Z said in that song made me feel bad about Beyonce getting cheated on
And it's a different situation because Kendrick had to deal with his addiction before he started a family and dedicated himself to his family, Jay-Z cheated when he had kids
