The industry does appear to be moving back to album roll outs instead of the surprise releases and mini roll outs like Damn had (announced and dropped within 2 weeks). Not to mention Kendrick dropped Damn coming off of the divisive TPAB, where KL4 is coming off of the massively successful Damn.

If Kendrick drops 1 or 2 huge hits and really promotes the album for more than a few weeks, then it could definitely outsell Scorpion.

Despite that, More Life has been streamed more on Spotify and Apple Music. They've both moved 4 million units in the US. More Life scored more top 10 hits than DAMN.
