if anything, he needs to bring back the beat battle streams. there were some decent producers in his chats
Didnt he get bullied off here
He bullied asap ricky so hard mans had to change his username to be able to keep up his schtick
He’s not wrong. The copycats never really go anywhere but it still dilutes the sound
How much ug hopped on the Waera slayr wave after half blood popped, bet there wouldn’t be as much so fast if they didn’t do discord breakdowns and streams sharing their DAW
Sharing the knowledge is a push and pull, but at the same time the originators are usually ahead so they’re already onto the next
Yeah for producers, they generally make a bunch of s*** and s*** takes a while to get placed and released. So by the time everyone’s copying a particular sound, that producer is already doing new s*** (that hasn’t been released yet)
I’ve made stuff from 3-5 years ago that’s just starting to get used for songs
I like what he’s saying tbh. I loved finding a new artist and being mystified by their art. S*** like partynextdoor and don tolliver to name a few in hip hop.
The producer community losing their mind trying to understand how they did certain things. I love music man
I have never once thought to copy an exact tutorial breakdown thing nor have I ever fished to see what someone else thinks this artist/producer made this song/sound
I use for what they're (or what I thot they were for lol) is to get some cool insight on top of maybe a new technique or some knowledge that you can add to your own thing
@Extraterrestrial @Hndrxx_Free Gatekeeping
yep
Another subtle thing thats ruined it
In the early 2010’s there were very few tutorials to break down nigga’s swag now you can learn anything and then Ai being built into YouTube description bar has made it worse/impossible to stop lol
Hes right
But hes a cop
Hes right but in 2026 if you don’t teach people how to steal your swag somebody will else will lol it’s kinda useless at this point tbh.
Too many people make money selling information for engagement to ever really protect an idea or technique
Like the Mkgee example he gave, it’s not like mkgee is out here dropping tutorials but somebody will gladly tell you how to steal his swag for a few likes and subscribers
What’s up with white people profiting off hip hop, speaking on the state of hip hop as if they aren’t problem
and FATHERS
!https://youtu.be/d0K7qZIORH0vulture. used hiphop for the launching pad them leave.

eh i get where you are coming from but he's no post malone. not many yt boys using rap to get a foothold in jazz, another black genre, of all things (besides Mac RIP). maybe he likes music idk?
White people should just keep their ideas to themselves about Hip-Hop
This nigga was absolutely right btw lol
