That’s “The Family” for me
ik part of the reason they even made that was to get out the rca deal but i love that album sooo much
kevin really shines when he’s at his most honest

I go back to that album more than any BH album, s*** really sums up a specific feeling so well
Pop Out is why Kevin needed to make an album like this, if it was a bh album there would’ve been some cringe s***verses like that 1 bonus joint off Roadrunner
NOLA with Peggy
Song sticks out like a sore thumb but it’s heat. that’s one of jpegs best features imo he was flowing

The family is crazy underrated.
Roadrunner and the family are prob my fav projects from them. Never got into the saturation series
Feels like Kevin is barely in this. Just a collection of no names
I enjoyed it heavy but I did come away thinking damn, Kevin never had a real standout moment
Listening party in Houston tonight
unsure if I will attending
@KevinAbstract Can we get them in?

He owes me a couple thousand . Came to me with the Brock Hampton idea about a decade ago, asked for some funding . I said sure why not , haven’t heard back from him since

Don’t really like this tbh. Feel like it’s all been done better and in more interesting ways years ago by better artists than the (talented for sure) team Kevin assembled this time. There is also isn’t nearly enough Kevin holding the songs together.
I feel like whenever people try to for a 2001, Dre, curator type vibe it just ends up kind of scant. None of Kevin’s bits are highlights here but also the production is kinda generic post 2017 indie rap stuff and the features are all a bit personality-less so it doesn’t really feel like anyone’s got highlights
Whoop that trick, get 'em (I could really use some),
Teeth that ain't f***ed up (I could really use some),
Money in a duffel bag (I could really use some),
Love that the 90's had (I could really use some).

Kevin has three stars under his roster if he's willing to develop them as artists (Love Spells, DERBY, and Ameer).
It's criminal that Ameer's last seven years have been wasted without Kevin by his side.
