Never answered your question because I already clarified my stance on abortion. I’m in favour of making all forms of birth control widely available and as cheap as possible.

I’m also in favour with of expanding financial assistance to single moms and low income families.

In addition, I do support abortions in instances where the women has been raped (which is extremely low btw) and in instances where the child or the child’s mother would experience serious health defects.

I don’t want black women or any women imprisoned due to having an abortion. I want to make having a child as easy as possible for all women. I also don’t believe that abortion should be used as reactionary measure to having irresponsible s***(which is the reasoning that most abortions do occur)

To his credit I've only ever seen him speak on black people, but basically his view is that the (white) man will never adequately provide for black people in america so they need to stick together and provide for their own. On its own a great message, but he talks down/condescendingly on people in interracial relationships, and that's where I'm out.

Serious question. Do you think the states that will restrict abortion access while also prvoiding the adequate financial nets for low income and single mothers?

Because part of me as well feels like this will only help perpetuate the cycle in the AA community of being depending on government care, leave more black babies in broken homes possibly without a father, more kids in the streets, etc

Idk I just can’t shake that feeling that it’s partially in their agenda too
