I love Key but his 2014 Soundcloud run will never be topped

Bruh dropped Give Em Hell EP, 808Key, and Fkeyi plus mad singles that weren’t on projects. That’s the year when he started to really shine imo. When he first left Two9 the hype was ridiculous, he was runnin that underground ATL wave

777 is his best project though. I slept at first then as 2018 went along it became my favorite work by him. Really encapsulated pretty much everything he was doing up until that point

SE and ILYSIB are def cool projects though. Those 2 show his range when it comes to that melodic sound

2014 Was a different era bro, the culture will never been like that again. I thought Key! Was gonna blow up off of FKEYi.

whenever I listen to Boys Don’t cry it reminds of songs like Limit, he been doing this s*** for so long

Yea bruh everything finally clicked for me recently after I revisited Fathers are the Curse. Had to come to the realization that the 2014-2015 era was just my favorite time in his career, that’s why his other projects don’t feel the same to me

He was just raw so during that time but he’s always tried to polish/refine his sound for projects, even on Fathers. The songs on his tapes are more fully fledged out and melody driven. The flows are more concise and the songwriting is supposed to be more catchy as opposed to s*** like 808Keys, Give Em Hell sound

Even took awhile for 777 to click for me but I finally understand what he’s been trying to do all these years. Even back when the underground scene was more raw he still made catchy songs like Weight, VA Beach Freestyle, STL Freestyle and all of Fkeyi

Nowadays people are more drawn to brighter sonics so he doesn’t really do songs like No Attitude, Store Run, and Vancouver Freestyle. Like you said he been on the melodic wave but a few years ago there was more of a balance so it didn’t seem like he was singing all the time. That’s just where the game at now

Either way I’ma always support he’s deadass one of my favorite artists of all time. Dude is too talented

777 is one of the best projects of the decade for me. So f***ing hyped for Part 2.

So Emotional has grown on me a lot. Fall Hard is 777-level in my eyes.

This new tape is growing on me too. But nothing hits me like 777 or SE.

Also that Two-9 tape, FRVR, in 2017 was fire. Key's hooks on 25/8 and Don't Try Me>>>>

Boys don’t cry one of those songs that makes you feel both like and

Key an underrated artist, need him to work with the best producers in the game, also would love to see him collab with BH producers, that s*** would be fire

Yeah ur right. It really came and went. Such a shame too because it was a very consistent project. I think I remember there were some people on KTT1 who were following Two-9 that didn't even know they dropped a full length album.
