idk about all that, very good album wouldn't say it's Blonde level. but definitely satisfied form what I heard. Cudi sounds great on this

Halfway through this special and it’s genuinely amazing.

Could definitely see an Emmy/Oscar nomination for this (whichever one it’d be eligible for, not sure since it’s a “special”)

45 mins in I was like ‘am I crazy that this is one of my all time favourite films’

The lonely vibes, the ‘don’t mess with nature/spirituality’ vibes, the green/retro futurism set designs and world, the old Hollywood/classic romance influences but with a damn fish god

Like that sequence where the girl and the fish dance in black and white who would even think to put the creature from the black lagoon in a audrey hepburn marilyn monroe style musical sequence and have it work so well

Been hearing something different every day till release

That production is out of this world and by far one of CuDi's best songs vocally

It really doesn’t…not that it would be a bad thing. The album stands by itself just fine.

Regarding dynamic range, I have some bad news. This is one of the most loud records I have ever heard. It sounds increadibly two dimensional, and the mixing engineer should feel embarrassed.

The powers-that-be should have hired a better mixer. As it stands now, the dynamic range is garbage 🤷
