Is it me or is the production kind of Passion or Satellite vibes?

Definitely getting passion vibes from it . Brings me back to spending majority of my time on here and being lost in the music . I’m really loving this roll out too . New snippet everyday, bunch of interviews and people are actually aware there’s an album coming out

I mean he’s tried new things for the majority of his career bro i don’t think he’s baiting anything he just clearly gets bored doing the same thing over and over again and likes to switch it up. Like you said tho, we got two good hiphop albums last year. Anybody mad about this being a pop album needs to take a step back and realize cudi has made left turns his whole career. We have been spoiled with lots of music since ppds and most of it has been right up his alley stylistically.

Pop is also very easy for cudi, so i don’t mind this album at all. Is it going to be one of his best albums? Probably not….but I’d rather him do this then drop another grunge type album like sbth. After motm3, i think it’s clear cudi has been in a much less constricted space creatively, he’s basically doing side quests now.

Really not sure what to expect besides a better attempt at what he was trying to capture in WZRD2

I gotta say this is the weirdest I've felt going into a Cudi album. I'm not super hyped like I usually am. I think part of the reason is he basically gave me everything I ever wanted with the insano's. Everything else is the cherry on top now.

Still stoked for it but expectations are a bit lower then usual. Neverland was kind of iffy for me. I f*** with Grave and Mr.Miracle is best out of 3. Just don't know what to expect at all

Also I may be crazy but I tweeted at him when insano nitro came out. I said I wished he try wzrd 2. I was shocked when he actually replied. Never has, and he said he would give it a try. I really feel like he went into the studio with the intentions of maybe doing a wzrd 2 but free ended up being the final product. He replied to me Feb 2024 so it kind of lines up to me
