True, but his fan base has a unique branch of toxic in hip hop, racisme
Which is quite new, and unique to him
we don't see white rappers before or after him dealing with that issue
Eminem introduced us (hip hop) to stanning (only caring about your favorite artist not the genre/culture of said artist) , other greats from his era don't have fans that don't only listen to them and put down other rappers
and yes, he's a big artist so that loud minority gets singled out alot.

I think people just assume a lot of stuff about Em fans from what they see on the internet.

The reason why some Em fans only listened to Em is because Em made rap global in 02. And most people outside of America didn't know s*** about rap. But I never see people talk about how rapper's fanbases increased with it, now american rappers can have sold out shows outside of the US and even get way more love when their own country doesn't f*** with them heavy anymore.

Em didn't make rap global he made it mainstream
Dmx went platinum outside of the uk before eminem released an album
Other acts like tupac, snoop dogg, salt n pepa, ll cool j, public enemy had cross over appeal to an certain extent too
Krs-one talked about how the song "fight the power" (public enemy) resonated even with alot of white Europeans/Americans
Also, rap scenes in the uk and Paris started to develop very quickly
Nas collaborated with a legendary French rap group (NTM) in the 90s (1996 to be exact)

Like I said eminem took his (and only his) rapping to an audience that included hip hop heads but also people who wouldn't care otherwise and became the biggest one to do so,making it mainstream with songs like stan, without me etc
Mainstream us stars always get the backing to promote heavy on airways/tv thus yeah alot of people around the world tuning in for music (not necessarily hip hop stations) gor exposed to him.
Edit : I just found out that public enemy toured the uk in 1987
    m.imdb.com/title/tt0462494
    Krs-one was correct
Look at how we're dismissing strides from black rap artists before eminem just to uphold this, he made rap music global narrative. I believe being public enemy, with their type of militant content, touring in the uk in 1987 is a huge feat. Let's not forget run dmc and the beastie boys. Hell, Def jam records should be mentioned before eminem in this "who made rap global" debate.

Em opened the door for American mainstream rap to be big outside tthe US imo. Just like 8 Mile made battlerapping famous world wide.

I see the nuance, however one could argue that it wasn't the best thing to happen to hip hop.
having international rap fans (regardless of race, culture, class, gender..) was a thing before eminem, it brought people together to a party, head bang, get freaky or fight the power.
I think it's safe to say that he brought an audience that clashes culturally with hip hop, only uplifts him and views him as the standard (real rap). I wonder if this only happened in hip hop

Making money wasn't the sole purpose of hip hop. There's a difference between music culture and the music business.
It was the voice of unheard poor kids in neglected neighborhoods, that revolt at the system and bangers for partying (to escape that reality) resonated with people inside/outside of the us before eminem
Public enemy toured the uk in 1987, they were black. I'm sure run dmc and other black rap artist toured outside the us as well
Not too mention, black artists from other genres (bob marley performed worldwide, Diana Ross, nina Simone, Janet and Michael jackson, fela kuti...)
It's a stretch to claim that a white artist succeeding means that black artist will be more accepted, history has proven us otherwise (rock isn't regarded as black music anymore, it got totally co-opted after Elvis presley/the Beatles /rolling stones made it global/mainstream)
eminem definitely helped black artists who were associated with him (d12, slaughterhouse, royce da 59) or those who reminded his fan base of him/real rap(hopsin, Joyner lucas) though.

If they can outsell world tours, then it's good for them, since most money comes from touring.

They also buy merch, even though it's more expensive cause shipping.

    More support, more money

That is good and benefits the artists pockets I'm sure. The culture and the way it shifts through time has different variables I believe.
Edit: I see you're also ignoring my points about hip hop as a culture and how eminema chunk of eminem fans seem willingly on the margins of it. Either you don't understand them or you don't care. I think I'm going to leave it at that

TBH this happened because of Lil Wayne, When he interviewed Eminem, he mentioned that Kid Cudi was trying to hit him up for a collab and Em had no idea.
Kinda makes me think why his management kept it from him, and also makes me wonder how many more collabs we have missed because of this.
