Between Lil Uzi and when 6ix9ine got locked up everybody was trying to rap, it was easier back then, because streaming was new, you could break through with wits and fortune but now it’s been consolidated

The biggest rappers are not flukes anymore

Lil Baby ( from ATL with deep connections and city respect you will never be Lil Baby)

Lil Durk (rapping for a decade plus and from the heartland of a lot of street music)

I’m glad now the kids can focus on being biologists engineers doctors writers, something productive

It’s a lot less feasible now than when Carti Uzi or even Trippie broke through

Tecca was the last fluke but he had a Lyrical Lemonade video and Internet Money production

I forgot I don’t go to TikTok so I don’t even know hi kids think

There’s probably dozens of kids there getting money of rap I don’t know but also pandemic stopped shows and that’s one of the ways Uzi Migos and Travis blew up

    Nonstop shows

People just want clout. They want to be famous and they are willing to do anything to do it.
