The Battle Begins With Nightfall

It’s 2091 and megacorp Horzine has produced the ultimate army: an obedient horde of bioengineered monstrosities called zeds. Now, only the rebel group Nightfall stands between these infernal creations and the future of humanity.

Killing Floor 3 is the next installment in the legendary action/horror series. This intense FPS puts you in the boots of a Nightfall specialist joining forces with up to five teammates to battle waves of zeds, earn dosh, unlock skills, and build the ultimate arsenal.

• Blood will paint everything in KF3 versus just the map in KF2
• Weapons will be realistic but with a tinge of futuristic
• Caliber of bullet will change skin of zeds, take chunks out of them
• Member of Nightfall, play as specialists (why)
• Can use any weapon regardless of specialist
• Attachments are a thing now, different mags, ammo, sights, barrels, grips, etc.
• Looks like the zeds have weight to them now, no more sending them flying across the map with shotgun blasts
• Commando specialist is a clone of Mr. Foster
• Death animations are a thing now
• Dodging is a thing now
• Coming early 2025

I hated that they made kf2 look so polished back when it was coming out. Maybe I was in the minority but that original KF game looked sooooo f***ing good and dirty and dark. I just loved it. And then they went extra on that steampunk theme and recently coming back to kf2 it just doesn’t look the same even from when I’d stopped playing a few years back

Kf2 is a solid game still but seeing that kf3 retained absolutely zero grime from the OG is upsetting. Other than that it didn’t look too outstanding from all the gameplay vids that I watched

Id recommend watching vids of the original killing floor mod for unreal tournament, that s*** was soooooo grimy and janky even I didn’t catch it. Played kf1 for quite a bit before the second one though
