I just wanted to say sorry for ghosting you like that...life got a bit hectic but I’m back now and still really want to chat about Kilo because Ive been listening to her a lot lately and it just reinforced how much I love her music...she’s honestly my fav artist ever.

One thing I’ve been meaning to ask you for a while....how did you first come across her music? Do you remember what year? Can you recall the very first song you ever listened to from her?

Planning to read this thread from the beginning...really curious to see how others interpret her music/artistic journey.

i liked K+ from a whileeeeeeee ago when i first started getting into artists on the internet around like 2013 and she was fw the OF crew, but i really tapped in with her music when she was all over vince staple's big fish theory album in 2017. from there i found reflections in real time which is my favorite album ever. when i heard age + self esteem i knew she'd be my fav artist

looking forward to this EP. I found out about her through Spotify when “AMERICAN GURL” dropped , and I love that album. She said she’s out of that era so im interested in the EP. I’ve definitely seen her name around before though because of her work with Vince Staples and FBZ

Her catalog is basically flawless so my expectations are high! It’s really hard to guess where she’s headed. American Gurl was such a heavy project for Kilo. There’s a chance this new album will be super personal and I think she’ll double down on what she talked about in Death Fantasy...

Whichever path she chooses...Go Kish!!!

I used to wonder how you found out about her music cause to this day I truly believe I’d never discovered her if you hadn’t introduced me to her. I’m genuinely so thankful.

I often find myself wondering where I was when she dropped Reflections in Real Time (Masterpiece) and trying to put it all into context. She released RIRT in 2016 and I didn’t even hear about her until 5 yrs later in 2021.

That gives me chills cause I see Kish as part of that “blog” era...Frank Ocean, Tyler, Odd Future, Kendrick, TDE, Mac Miller, Big Sean, Jhene Aiko, Vince, Asap, Bino, Danny Brown etc. I’d even heard of Syd (btw KK a real one for including her in the Locket MV) but never Kilo...I can't wrap my head around this...it makes no sense at all.
