Yeah, but I guess from my perspective people lean on a figure like Jesus to get through tough times because they are under the impression they don’t have the strength to do it alone.

In my eyes, when he does over come it, and he will, it’ll 100% be because of the strength he actually does possess, not because of a religious figure like Jesus.

People use religion as a crutch too many times in my opinion, and it’s fine because whatever helps people find healing in a matter is awesome. I place the credit on the actual individuals themselves though, not Jesus.
