I feel like you missing why people pissed at Kim's comments... Your fam achievements are way more impressive than Kim Kardashians. She came from a wealthy connected family and went to another level off a s***tape and entertainment and hiring the right business advisors etc... It's insulting to think that's got relevance to the average person

It's just that you are extremely disconnected and out of touch if you believe hard work alone will get anyone who tries out of there.
From the sounds of it there's a chance that your parents might have some relevant advice and motivation, although we all know and see countless examples of people losing touch with their roots after they make it.
