They had ample time to just release it formally or even for free if things fell through. There was a weird obsession about tryna sell it so they can give the money to the family but it’s clear that’s not exactly the case. Didn’t let them in on anything when they should be the ones leading it
Steez wouldn’t have charged us for this and he would have hated a situation as lame as a legal dispute stopping it
There is a version of the album that already exists and has for a while, and it seems like anyone with possession of it has already been told by PE’s legal team that they’ll be f***ed

And who even knows if that “finished” version matches the quality he would’ve wanted after mastering. Like I felt Skins was 80% of what Xxxtentacion wanted, but that 20% that’s missing is why that project feels so hollow in comparison to the finished ones
