First Impressions

Seems like he's added a bunch of different elements like vocals samples and some slight electronic influences on here like the first track Cellular which makes sense due to the song title. This is only really present on the fist half though. Stoned Again is the Dum Surfer on this album, features really gritty prod with punk delivery and the sax transcends this track.. One of his best songs I'd say.

After Omen 3, what started out as sounding cohesive turned to being really samey. There's just not enough happening on tracks 8-11, I genuinely can't remember any of those songs and I kinda felt the same for some of the tracks on The OOZ.

Theme for the Cross is a prime example, nothing happens until like 1:50 mins into the song and its the same delivery in the songs prior and just sounds really hollow.

Picks back up with Underclass which I really like as the lyrics
are dope and the instrumental is super smooth, really Jazzy which I love.

As of now, this is crazy front loaded but I can see this being a grower, especially when the moods right.

Fav tracks probably: Stoned Again, Alone Omen 3 & Perfecto Miserable.

sounds like its gonna be a mood record like you said
but that's fine with me, since he's that type of artist for me anyways

i agree with the ooz, while i love that s*** there were def some songs on there that felt kinda "just there"

also in for electronic influences

7/10 seems like a nice score for a first listen
can't wait to listen myself

It's like electronic undertones, it isn't very eminent lol, I only really noticed on a couple songs in the first half. I need a Flac copy to really give a solid opinion on the production aspect.

Yeah that's kinda what some are, just there.

It's solid though, I like it and I reckon I'll only enjoy it more going forward.
