at this point online discourse genuinely feels like the scales are tipped so far to the right that no one can cultivate any sort of following whether theyre a government insider or not. also sucks the dems have no good 'faces' and havent since Obama
of course theres no clear proof of this, but the current protests feel so explicitly hidden online. Like, why do I have to actually dig to find information on the protests against ICE going on right now? Why is this not covered very much anywhere? No one I know irl seems to be aware of them happening, even if they stare at Fox/local news all day. Just feels like all informative entities are clogged, or heavily screening what is being put out
That’s real, and I think that’s why the protests need a charismatic voice

I'm in mental health as well. My company is so s*** at dealing with "situations" I bet nothing will be spoken of until mass firing.
I think 80% of our billing is to Medicaid, and we always have too many clients, but it's going to be weird if Medicaid isn't a normal part of my professional life any more
And Medicaid is already stripping back what they'll allow us to work on too, like a gross amount of what I do isn't allowed now.
