both sides have irridentist territorial claims against each other, its not that simple. what is important is first ending the conflict. then their is question of the areas that were independent prior to the invasion.

So end the conflict and decimate Ukraine in the process including having them not protected by NATO, taking their rescources, their territory, and ultimately their protection when Russia decides it wants more of their land.
