all this time this could be amended just like that?

“To be clear, all businesses — those that have government contracts and those that do not — still need to follow federal and state laws, including the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which makes segregated facilities illegal.”

It doesn’t inherently implement it because the Rights Act prohibits segregation, but the contracts up until this point explicitly mentions not to do it.

Could be another “DEI” related thing I suppose.

White people's obsession with stuff like this really highlights the state of racism today, that conservatives love to say doesn't exist anymore. Like why do you care so much that "segregation is not allowed" is or isn't explicitly written on the contract if you aren't racist?

i get the feeling too. considering Bezos, Musk, Zuckerberg and more seemed staunchly anti Trump for so long, then switched very shortly before the election is a huge red flag to me. it's like they know something we don't, i'm afraid they know that this is going to work in their favor for much longer than we would like. they would never put their support behind that guy if they weren't sure things would keep going this direction. if a democrat got elected in 4 years and democrats controlled the house/senate and supreme court, they'd be on the outs of society and legislation. they don't seem to be scared of that possibility
