That won't happen, but I'm certain that before the midterms this Trump DOJ will target Dems in congress, the senate, state senate and congress too and more. They won't be sent to El Salvador though.

Vance taking over seems like 20x worse tbh

Idk the thing with Trump is he’s not as cunning as Vance but he has a cult of personality that nobody else does. He’s impervious because that entire party is scared to go against him.

There’s no reason for the party to go against the guy that keeps the party in power

    One (Trump) has charisma

The other (Vance) just literally dropped the ncaa football trophy on the floor at the ceremony today

    Vance has no juice

They literally already did after he lost/Jan 6th. They had to fall in line w the cult after it was decided he was coming back

So since he’s ignoring court orders the J Pow firing can’t be far away. $ is f***ed

Trump admin has now repeatedly ignored court orders, one regarding bringing Garcia back from El Salvador, and another from now, once again, preventing AP News access to the Oval Office.

Are we surprised someone that has no regard for the law before becoming president continues to disregard it after? Once Trump was convicted he should have never became president. This is why people have to actually care about these things not just when it's convenient for them to do so.

Will be funny to see these ignoring of orders being brought up in the Supreme Court only for the presidential immunity ruling to be used to absolve him of any wrong doing

Not really since people would actually stand up against him instead of sucking his d*** like they do Trump

I do wonder how many people are still content with not doing everything they could (ie: voting for Kamala) to stop Trump from taking power after the stuff today about openly sending US citizens away to foreign prisons

Shows true commitment if you still feel like voting for Kamala was a bridge too far in the face of this s***

You are LITERALLY throwing the Arab and Palestinian community under the bus by saying this. They chose to take a stand by choosing either to not vote or vote third party, because they did not want someone who supports genocide in the white house. By acting like they’re okay with what Trump is doing rn, is especially insidious and not something you should be doing when there were communities already being actively harmed prior to Trump taking office. Things are worse, for sure, but there was a number of voters who were being impacted by Biden's policies and caused active harm because of the push for genocide, and Kamala was not going to be any different on this.

That's all Imma say but it's important to remember to not voter shame, because this does not help anyone, especially those who were affected communities under the previous administration and what could've been the new administration through Kamala.

Surely they’re loving the chaos as it’s sowing the seeds for their violent revolution that’ll usher in their communist utopia! any minute now…

This is kinda morbid and I promise I don’t mean this disrespectfully at all, but it struck me that choosing whether or not to vote for Kamala is straight up the trolly problem

I appreciate your perspective and my heart goes out to the pain you’ve suffered.

I don’t feel like arguing the trolley problem that @word_salad was mentioning, but I would like to say that for the record I in no way was thinking of the Palestinian and Arab community when I wrote that post — I was basically just thinking of generic people with the political views of Synopsis (not connected to any particular race or religion or specific political issue)

people don't owe the DNC votes. it doesn't matter what the reason is. the only thing remarkable about whats happening in Palestine is how unremarkable it really is, the USA has caused suffering on the scale of the Palestinian genocide in multiple places on earth countless times.
