snowboyraripalestinians and north koreans are like siblings. we always have supported each other's struggles. I could explain why but you'd have to have a legitimate open mind, talking to most "good liberals" about koreans is like talking to bubba redneck types about black people.
I could be completely ignorant on the subject but my understanding is that the NK government is wildly oppressive and unchill.

It's not perfect. Most people would not want to live there for various reasons. The set up to get to that state of affairs is directly tied to Europe and America f***ing over Korea for decades leaving them to fend for themselves. Then, slapping countless blockade and tariffs on anyone who tries to make amends with nk

Disaster and crisis provides opportunity for some regimes with bad to imperfect governments to take place. I don't know more than that. However, America does not punish NK for what it does to its people, but the fact it never bent the knee to the US.

their's nothing any more "tyranical" about the north korean state than anywhere else. "prison camps" are just prisons, everyone has prisons. and compared to the US they are cushy.
