The beliefs behind this blew up on leftist subreddits I want to say 7-9 years ago but idk. Those places are obviously full of paid bots from other countries to influence people, and it's always worked really well because it seeps out to any left leaning subs and creates huge infighting even in the most specific of leftist communities

GenZeDong was a big one that f***ing loved NK to a weird extent, really obvious Honeypot type s***. Was banned which was sort of a big deal a few years ago

Most people just believe North Korea is terrible because they’re one of the only countries who have successfully resisted the influence of the West.

But when you realize that they have free healthcare, free housing, and absolutely amazing food and produce, they begin to seem pretty much like a utopia. No homelessness, no corporate greed. Yeah, imagine a life without ads and true freedom.

It’s in the West’s best interest to suppress us from knowing that kind of life is even possible, because it directly goes against our intended “programming”

@ryder this little korean documentary is 37 minutes long and a better source anyway, since it is from a korean filmmaker who risked a lot to release it
