I don’t get how they call the tax cuts in Trump’s BBL permanent, can’t the next administration just change them

$3.3 trillion being added to the deficit isn’t something that’s going to go away with another admin

either austerity or inflation (on a different level from 2022-2025) is in store for the next decade guaranteed for the U.S.

Yeah that’s clear. I’m saying they’re calling specific tax cuts “permanent” as if the tax code can’t be changed later.

Ay best case scenario the BBL forces the US to finally cut its defense spending lmao

It’s hilarious watching how all these big corporations have reversed so many of their policies just due to one person..

You never heard of DEI initiatives being a problem until that d***head starting abusing it, and now all the companies feel like they need to stand down on anything that man says or does

Well, mf'ers always been fighting against DEI initiatives (such as the Rooney Rule in the NFL), or at least doing the bare minimum to pass it. Now they finally have a president who's big on big companies, it's no surprise how fast they're in on this type of legislation

What’s stopping the next admin in 4 years from just repealing all that s*** though besides being p****. Just pull the same executive order s*** and cancel everything or have a competent house pass bills negating it all

Whats stopping them is the democrats are f***ing pussies and wont use the executive office to actually get anything good done for people. Everytime it comes to the most pressing issues they're like "Wait let me reach across the aisle to my colleagues i love so much and make this as weak as possible"

To add they’re basically forced to settle or Trumps admin won’t let the Paramount merger go through lol

It’s more than just a company capitulating but they’re being bent over

So long has the electoral system in america been designed to absorb any real energy for meaningful change and neuter it and use it for performative manipulation of people

If some reforms can come that make peoples living conditions less harsh then good, but it cant be the only method

Pressure needs to come from the outside.

And on top of that, most of them are happy to take those tax cuts for themselves.

The thing that libs are missing in all of these talks they try to dunk on people who didn’t vote for Kamala and say s*** like “oh I thought both sides were the same” is that it’s not that both sides are the same, it’s that they work together for the rich ruling class.

Knowing that the tax cuts are set to expire, do y’all really think anyone else besides trump was ever really going to win? Was the ruling class ever going to let those tax cuts go away?

Biden’s brain was porridge and they really let him go that deep into the race? They covered s*** up for so long for what? Then after inauguration the guy instantly gets the most aggressive form of cancer.

He clearly should’ve done one term as he said, but he stayed in the race way too close to f***ing death and f***ed us. Reminds me of a supreme court justice. Well hey the Biden’s will get to enjoy these estate tax cuts the republicans are about to pass.

So no primary and we get the cop that no one liked in the last primary, the VP that’s disappeared, to go run just a terrible f***ing campaign. Waltz starts winning points by calling these f***ing freaks out for what they are and the dems told him to ease up. You gotta take a step back and question, did these guys even f***ing want to win? Do we really believe their duty to the nation was more important to them than their own money?

Someone mentioned that Kamala had to capitulate on the immigration talk, but it didn’t f***ing work so did she really need to? 2020 dems were saying no one is illegal and 2024 they were saying what republicans were saying. All they did was normalize republican positions(tren de aragua designation) while losing voters because why would you vote for a dem with republican policies when you can just vote for the republican? Is there any kind of self reflection done here? No, they just point at the Latino voters that the dems lost and blame them.

I don’t even need to get into Palestine and israel. But libs want to dunk on people who tried to get their politicians to represent their beliefs, instead of the politicians that purposefully chose a stance that alienated voters in their base.

Then we got Musk on twitter, Zuck on all their s***, Bezos on Amazon blocking WaPo from making an endorsement.

The media, the technocrats with their control over social media, the dems, republicans, the cock suckers we used to call artists, and everyone else in the ruling class was going to make sure the tax cuts remained everything else be damned.

That’s what “both parties are the same” is really about. They are all on the same team, and they are going to continue to f*** us until we die. And yes I did vote for Harris but it doesn’t matter because I live in Texas and all these other states keep sending us their conservative rejects

No, some of this s*** wouldn’t be happening under Kamala but they were never going to let her win. Teflon Don’s their guy and they can continue this whole dog and pony show after he’s gone and the damage is done.

Democratic partys only hope (not that they deserve to survive as a political party ), is to adopt Zohran's methods imo and actually try to become a working class focused party but theyre too busy being racist to realize that. Also not everybody has his skills of redirection and flipping the narrative back into whats important so

All the stuff that he's proposing is mild in the grand scheme but extremely popular with a lot of people and would bring some relief to people and its their only hope of party survival. but once again i doubt theyll really take it because a great number of them are still capitalist pigs who hate brown people
