Utah would be bigger for skiing actually…but in that case, if you live in a country where skiing is a big deal (like Canada or some place in Europe), why not ski in Canada or the Alps? Utah and Wyoming are big for skiing here because it’s less hassle than getting a passport and paying for a long flight ticket to go to the Alps or Whistler

I was thinking about Texas, but as I mentioned above, even a city like Seattle (which is not gonna do anywhere close to LA/SF/NY/Chicago/Boston numbers) dwarfs Houston for example (3% for Houston, vs 10% for Seattle). I know there are definitely some international travelers that want to go to Texas for the BBQ and media portrayal of it, but it’s definitely not a mainstream destination for people from Europe or Asia outside of business trips
