Dam they all fell in line except for Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Thomas Massie (R-KY), Al Green (D-TX), Summer Lee (D-PA), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI)

Greene introduced Amendment 114 to H.R. 580, the Department of Defense Appropriations Act for 2026, proposing to cut $500 million in funding for Israel’s missile defense systems, including the Iron Dome. She argued that Israel, as a "nuclear-armed nation," is capable of self-defense and already receives $3.4 billion annually from the U.S. State Department. Greene highlighted Israel's national debt (under $400 billion) compared to the U.S. debt ($37 trillion), asserting that American taxpayers should not fund additional aid. On July 18, 2025, the House overwhelmingly rejected this amendment with a vote of 422-6.

What Red States are tourist destinations for international travelers though?

I cannot think of one that has anywhere close to a significant portion of its economy dependent on tourism outside of Florida lol they’re all garbage states

I would hazard a strong guess that she has a lot of Democrat friends on the list

Would actually be shocking if she didn’t tbh

Yep. Epstein list is mutual destruction on both sides. Its a political nuke. Neither party truly wants that to come out.

Ah shoot, I should’ve thought of New Orleans.

Nashville is not getting anymore near comparable numbers to blue state tourism tho, even a place like Seattle would s*** on it.

Same with Wyoming. Utah would be bigger for skiing actually…but in that case, if you live in a country where skiing is a big deal (like Canada or some place in Europe), why not ski in Canada or the Alps? Utah and Wyoming are big for skiing here because it’s less hassle than getting a passport and paying for a long flight ticket to go to the Alps or Whistler

I was thinking about Texas, but as I mentioned above, even a city like Seattle (which is not gonna do anywhere close to LA/SF/NY/Chicago/Boston numbers) dwarfs Houston for example (3% for Houston, vs 10% for Seattle). I know there are definitely some international travelers that want to go to Texas for the BBQ and media portrayal of it, but it’s definitely not a mainstream destination for people from Europe or Asia outside of business trips
