I mean to be fair, Trump literally doesn’t think when he speaks. Like…actually lmao.

Dude just spits words out of his mouth to keep going so that no one interrupts him. He keeps going until he feels like he filled enough space with words. Him saying “privilege” is because he thought the word sounded nice/profound/smart.

That style unfortunately also allows for his supporters to just cover up whenever he says anything controversial because they can just say “Trump just says s***”

But I do think it’s wrong to just take him literally because you don’t like that speaking style/tactic.

Nah I actually believe he did foul s*** with Epstein and language slip ups like that are revealing.

There’s times where I’m like “nah he didn’t actually mean that” but this isn’t 1 of them. still can’t give this dude the benefit of the doubt at some point words have to mean something, especially when you account for the array of bullshit with the way he’s handled this in just the last few weeks.

My thoughts are, let’s focus on the hard evidence (which is plentiful) that shows why he’s likely guilty of some unlawful s*** connected to Epstein, instead of pointing at every time he says something that could maybe be interpreted as a clue

It’s a distraction in order to get his base to see detractors as boy who cried wolf rather than focusing on the actual bad s*** he’s doing
