Polling means nothing. You can say anything to someone taking a poll, it doesn’t mean you are even going to vote for them for real. You could change your mind last minute. I almost didn’t vote for Kamala because they made it so hard to figure out where I was supposed to go to vote in my district.

Probably because conservatives have done a good job of painting California as the worst place in America to live.

P easy to see the argument for him on paper: he’s a tall, white, charismatic man and he’s not super old. He’s a governor of a large state. As I said on the previous page, he’s trying to portray himself as the anti Trump and get people to forget his failings as a governor.

I don’t think he’ll win the nomination, but it makes sense on paper why he would have a good chance right off the bat

However to this point, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — I really don’t think the true contenders will be known for two years at least. Those people are just names floated about right now because they are the current names people know nationally in the Dem party. There are always people that have a big rise out of no where.

For example: Obama in 2008, Bernie in 2016, Pete and Klobuchar in 2020. They were all known politicians, but they had huge boosts in name recognition only a matter of months before primaries started (obviously Obama being the biggest success of those)

Yes, right now Gavin is probably the frontrunner, but anything could happen from now until election day. With the way things are going I am not confident that he won't be jailed before 2028.
