This won't happen. The fed has to be independent of the political tides of our govt for this exact reason. The president trying to force rate cuts to cover his ass when he makes brain dead fiscal policies.

If the fed gets railroaded and controlled by essentially a meme presidency then there can be literally no faith in our markets.

To me, this is how his administration is going. Priming himself as a dictator and overextending his executive powers as far as judges will let him go. He finally backs off if judges tell him no. Except for that one guy they already deported. He kind of picks and chooses his battles on that front. But generally if no judicial power tells him no he just does what he wants. Its up to our system to hold him accountable and theyre choosing to do so as little as possible so thats why he's getting so far.
