Anyone who's both sides are bad need to get slapped. Yes there is no perfectly viable solution. It's medicore and then there's "fuck everyone but the elite" the shutdown is to prevent our premiums from skyrocketing. God knows how many people will be kicked off of their Healthcare plans by the end of this, how many people will be attacked by their own military, how many people will be illegally deported, etc.
But imagine finger wagging to the democrats when there is a full blown dictatorship developing. Open your f***ing eyes man.
Say whatever the f*** you want about Obama, Hillary, Biden, Kamala, they would not have a ceremony telling generals it's time to start attacking citizens and using cities as training grounds. They are by no means perfect, but I would take "a little for you here, a little for them here" over just "FUCK YOU"
I think the "both sides are the same" take reached its threshold when it came to the genocide in Gaza. there were a myriad of reasons she lost, but truly i dont think we realize how much of a watershed moment it was witnessing 0 f***s given to funding and arming the genocide of a people we could all witness on our phones/ computers at any moment.
Basically being told "Well look at the other guy" was completely losing grip on reality.Truly an unprecedented moment the dems fumbled. Genocide being the redline for people aint the fault of the voters. Its the party in power perpetuating it.
of course it wouldve been easier to protest under a kamala regime but i feel like thats almost a paradox in itself cause of the reasons kamala lost being tied to supporting the genocide.

That bit he mentions where generals don't need to be hyped up or given a pep talk because they already know how important s*** is is so true and really exposed these clowns for how little they know/respect what the military is all about.
I had a feeling when I first watched that speech that those generals were probably pissed. He was up there talking like a 16 year old on Discord hyping up his Call of Duty clan for a clan war.

Thats fair, im not saying kamala ran a great campaign or that us funding the war was a positive strategy.
But its just so much worse now. There was clearly a worse option from all optics and we chose that. And now who knows if we'll ever get out of it

People don’t give a f*** about things until it affects them. People won’t care until it affects their job, family and freedoms. And then they’ll suddenly realize this s*** Trump is doing and Project 2025 is a real thing.
Kamala was far from perfect. She was far from the President we needed. But I’d take her 100 times out of 10 over the literally devil in human flesh we have now as President
