Most Republicans have felt as though they were somehow victims under Obama and Biden. They don't care about anything other than getting "retribution". It doesn't matter if their civil liberties are trampled upon in the process.

This poll and others show how stupid Kamala's campaign was. She really thought moving more to the right would help her when these people would never in their lives vote for her. All it did was cause those who would vote for her ticket to sit out.

But voter turnout was at record highs in modern history in 2024. To me that doesn’t indicate that it was a turnout problem for her. Rather, it was a persuasion problem (to get the people who did vote to choose her over Trump). When you have turnout that high, the people who sat out were probably the type of people who would never be satisfied enough to vote.
