Trump is currently -22 on immigration. His deportations have affected his voters too. I genuinely believe a lot of people seriously thought he was only going to get rid of actual criminals.

There have been business owners, high school and college students, wives, husbands, fathers, mothers, daughters and sons deported to places they haven't lived in for years. The Dems need to put those stories on full display and come up with an actual amnesty plan.

They also need to come up with a way to fast track people's family members, who aren't criminals and were deported, to bring them back here. This is a winning issue. However, my faith in the Dems coming up with a plan and coherent messaging is almost 0.
