I agree that it's suspect. He didn't even have a real plan or anything. Did he really think he could just outrun everyone with his super speed like an anime character and shoot/stab everyone in the ballroom? It might not be a conspiracy. He could have just gone insane.

He was a pretty smart guy judging by his credentials. Seems even if he went crazy he'd have a little more in depth plan.

This administration has been inept every step of the way thus far. It's not out of the realm of possibility that the security plan was simply idiotic (In fact, it seems like it was).

We'll learn a lot more about what happened and more about who the shooter is/ what his motive was soon. I'm not going to jump to any conclusions.
