Thought you just have to bring an item to a shop to get it?

the item doesn't transfer over from NG+ , so you'd have do all the requirements to get it again for the new save file

that's pretty lame. if you don't start a NG+ right now after getting oathkeeper, you'd have do basically the same s*** to get ultima weapon for oathkeeper in the same save file as oblivion.

you just have to beat the game on critical then when you get back in the game it should give you a item to trade for oblivion, you get oathkeeper by doing all the lucky emblems

most player already have ultima weapon and that requires you find all lucky emblems, the proofs don't carry over on ng+ so you'd have to do all that over again to get oathkeeper in a critical save you already started/finished and that's just one big ass drag/waste of time

mines for oathkeeper didn't and a lot of people have been saying so as well, i started my crit save the day it was released with the proofs so maybe that's it

If you want both Oathkeeper and Oblivion on a lower difficulty save file, make sure you start a new game plus before you trade in your proofs. I saw A few people on Twitter say the proofs won’t transfer if you cash them in on critical before creating a new save.
