Just got into this series during quarantine after remembering playing at my friends house as a kid. Saw that it was remastered for Xbox One and copped it. Playing KH2 now and at the part where Sephorith comes in.
The chain of memories game play was trash though. F*** those cards
KH series in Unreal Engine 5 got me hyped yooo
KH and the FF7R sequels should be a treat
Was about to log in and tell you to stop using your shotlock so early lol.
And nah, the aerial gameplay is pretty good and better than the others by defualt since you can block in the air lol.
Be sounding like tears bout to hit them sticks lol. Well you could just block and counter, but your timing was off so shotlock was the next option lol. Had no choice but to do that during the pro code run along with running in circles for mp to come back, it was a struggle lol. Don’t have anything against the frozen keyblade just gets outclassed kinda fast.
And disagree cause like the other KH games I mostly stay in the air. Just gotta get familiar with the timing and be aware of Sora and the enemy's position, if you can’t get a hang of that and react you gonna struggle and be grounded lol. Was in the air and dashing all over the place even in the data fights and secret boss fight. As for flowmotion, I like it. Don’t really have a strong opinion of it, just really fun to use. Dream Drop is a terrible game so you can have that lol.
Good to see you enjoying it more now though
And yeah KH1 Neverland was a pretty good world with some great scenes and fights tbh.
Like I said earlier, I’m in the middle of playing KH2 for the first time, but how do you guys rank the games?

Haven’t thought about it in a minute but probably:
KH3 > KH2 > KH1 > BBS > 0.2 > COM > KHUX > KH DDD
Only watched the KH Days and Re:Coded movies. Don’t wanna play either.

Oh s***. That has me hype to play KH3
Do I have to play chain of memories and watch the /2 movie before I play KH2?

You can play Chains Of Memories before but I kinda grew tired of it since it’s so different gameplay wise and the story is kinda slow. Try it out if you got it and if not, go to KH2. The DS game the movie is based on came AFTER KH2 and I feel like it will ruins parts of connecting dots in KH2 if you watch it beforehand, some might disagree and say it adds but up to you.

KH2 > KH1 = KH3 > BBS > DDD > Rest

So I am in the middle of KH2 right now, and I played the majority of COM before hand (I got sick of the gameplay style after completing Soras part in it, so I just watched the movie after that.)
With that being said, I wish I just played KH2 and saved some of the story and surprises that come in it. It’s nice knowing what’s going on I guess, but I think it would’ve been cooler having figured it out later in KH2 rather than knowing before hand who the new characters are in it.

I'll prolly finish KH and move right into KH2 and play the side story s*** after
