Something that can really make these fights easier: you can guard into a reprisal and fall back into a guard. This will essentially fully I-frame you for the duration of what would otherwise be unblocked attacks from the data org.

I suggest using counter slash. Use: quick slash, flash step, radial blaster, aerial dive, aerial sweep, and last charge as your combo modifiers. Remove falling slash. That will slow you down. Remove any flow motion attacks as well, so when you air step, it acts as a guard break and you can begin a regular combo.

well the previous non-numbered games were never on an actual console (except 0.2, but that was bundled with DDD, and back cover). they were only on handhelds, so the prices were a bit cheaper (iirc like $40 or so).
