doesn't seem like sephiroth will be a possible boss, assuming there's 13 org data battles + 1 secret boss (yozora?). As well as the exclusion of cloud in those newly released renders.
They’re changing the menu! This really is a Final Mix.
Thank God. My biggest disappointment with this game lmao.
Preorder is up on PS4, looks like it comes with a theme.
Don’t know which one is better, the new theme or the PS4 Pro one.
From the onset, I was just happy they weren’t using the deck lol. BBS and Dream Drop felt slower and a bit more rigid in comparison especially BBS with the interruptive transformations which were dope but they really stalled the gameplay flow a lot.
While playing through it though I wasn’t upset it wasn’t exactly like KH2FM but appreciated how extremely close it felt to me.
You know KH2FM gameplay is pretty tight and has a nice balance. It wasn’t until the Frozen world where I felt that KH3 was at least on the same level or beyond it. And that’s in comparison to endgame KH2FM which was in mind from the beginning, which is a bit unfair to KH3, but it pulled through lol. They just melded the concepts from KH2FM, BBS, and DDD together so well along with natural advancements. It’s wild some people didn’t like just how many options they give you to play with.
I made all the cuisines, but I only used one once and left it alone lol cool option though. I was expecting Yozora or the Foretellers to be the secret boss, but I thought a Yozora fight was going to take place in a small area of Shibuya. Going against him in that dim lit place might be frustrating lol. But yeah KH3 is amazing and seems like it’s about to get even more so with ReMind, cliffhanger gonna be wild.
Oh, I completely agree. The command deck was horrendous. The thing that frustrated me about Birth by Sleep is that the game had a really compelling story, but the gameplay held it back. The combat was so stiff and sluggish (mostly Terra), but the float was pretty bad in that game. The game wasn't balanced well either. Ignite, mine square, and thunder surge broke the game. The super boss was just... awful. The humanoid bosses rarely staggered. It was just a weird game. DDD was a step up in terms of the smoothness of the combat, but the game itself wasn't very fun. Then you had the balance issues again with balloon. With Kingdom Hearts III, Osaka really stepped up. The combat is pretty smooth save for a few abilities like magic flash, but it feels very close to KH II FM.
I did appreciate Kingdom Hearts III's critical mode because it felt consistently hard. Personally I feel like once you hit a certain point in the game and you've honed your offensive skills - the game is hard, but also very manageable. I love how many options you have in KH III. I truly believe that if people took the time to experiment with this combat system, they would appreciate it more. I rarely used cuisine as well, but once I played critical it became a must. I hated the Hero's Origin keyblade until critical mode. Grand Magic is one of the best new additions to combat. I love it.
I can't wait for these new form changes. Given the details we received about Re MIND today, I definitely think Yozora is a secret boss. It will be interesting to say the least if we fight him in the Final World.
So this will be a full blown Final Mix and will be the full original KH3 wit a bunch of added s***? Yall think it will also function as a NG+ and let you start it at level 99 and all upgrades?
Reason being, I never did critical mode /NG+ when they were added and was saving my replay for Re:Mind in hopes that it would do jus that. Replaying either way but also being a NG+ would be hard as bricks.
please add Japanese voice options man
apparently japan is getting english VA options, but not sure about the opposite

maybe they get english subs as well, in that case I'll have to find a way to get Japanese version if it aint expensive

Hope they’re bringing back the walking toward the screen in the pause menu thing

Yep, BBS has a very engaging story, but the gameplay does hold it back a good bit. The secret bosses were such a hassle lol had you dodge rolling most of the fight. It should have been like Lingering Will where even though it’s quite difficult it still feels pretty fair to win, they just didn’t have that balance. 0.2 Mirage Aqua is where it felt like they got a lot better with that. As for DDD I don’t like it from a gameplay standpoint and story, thought it was terrible. Flowmotion can be pretty fun to use though so glad they brought that to 3.
Lost that first Darkside fight in Critical Mode multiple times but once you get cure, things settle a bit more because potions run out fast. I didn’t really use Hero’s Origin in Critical Mode but did use Grand Chef which is pretty similar. Used Classic Tone the most though. Third playthrough gonna mostly be Oathkeeper along with Oblivion and another if they add a new keyblade in ReMind.

I like the new theme more. I really like that Sora illustration so it's cool that the new one uses it. And I still don't like some of the PS4 Pro design and the little emblem it has too.
However, the Japanese PSN preorders get:
And the bottom will have the new illustration that connects to that and is the screen of the dlc.

Same, wonder if it'll include Yozora.

Yeah, at least it could be put on the store but they don't do that either.
That Yozora fight is gonna be amazing I just know it yo
I can only imagine the music

You know he bout to go off with that sword and crossbow, gonna be quick af with combos.
So KHUX got a new update in Japan. It goes over how Maleficent will be able to time travel back but more interestingly they closing in on revealing who the fake leader is.
Thought it was Brain at first tbh but seems like it's either Ven or Skuld
Finally played the KH VR update and it was pretty cool. It's a nice little look back on the series and a reminder to not deal with COM card system again lol hopefully they do BBS too.
Also, with ReMind having all these multiple playable characters, hopefully they let you change the shortcuts. Was replaying the Aqua part and kept using thunder instead of cure
