Played and platinumed the first game for the first time a few months ago and it took me like a year?

I HATED it at first. I felt like the biggest enemy in the game was the camera and I didn't like how there's clear indication of the objective at times or how there's no way of even knowing some things unless you look them up (e.g. killing a specific enemy that may or may not spawn and then may or may not drop an item that you need multiple of).

So I played it on and off, hence it taking me a year, but once I committed to finishing it and then going back and playing it 2 more times for platinum I learned to love it, lmao. I think it's aged well, tbh. Other than the camera (which even modern games fail to get right sometimes), there aren't really any gameplay mechanics that feel dated.
