SpawnWave was theorizing that because we see Kirby with the Link hat and sword, “The World Beyond” could be Kirby going to different Nintendo worlds. Sort of like Astrobot

So imagine we have levels in different IP like Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, Splatoon, Pikmin or Bayonetta

Obviously won’t happen but would be dope af

that’s cool but the link hat and sword being used in the way that it was felt more like a reference to the fact that Kirby was leaving the “great plateau” at the beginning of botw.
a great way to signal to the player the type of open-world we’re getting.

Honestly, Kirby being a puzzle-platformer but taking on the freedom of something like Botw is such a match made in heaven, you know this world is just gonna feel so good to explore
