Crazy that it's almost 10 years..I remember it as it came out yesterday. All the memories with it
When the sun comes up you're searching for a love so your heart won't lead you to anyone
When the sun comes up you're searching for a love so your heart won't lead you to anyone
Going on 10 years later and I’m still not over how perfect the switch is on the title track
was travelling by bus the other night and spun thru this for the first time in years
i always forgot how epic pretty & the town are
Walked in to Best Buy got this cd day it released
Vibe
Same!
I still can’t believe he did a FREE meet & greet for the entire tour.
I have never seen another (big) artist do that..
i wonder if there will ever be an album that makes me feel the same way as i do when pressing play & professional starts playing

That might be the perfect time to listen to it
Almost 10 years but still can't decide between Wanderlust or Wanderlust - Pharrell remix
Both so good

Wtf 10 years already?!
The 5 year anniversary feels like it was yesterday! Where is time going?!

Dilemma indeed lol but I found the solution. I prefer the OG for when listening the album start to finish.
The remix when I want to listen a track or two, and I want it rhythmic/energetic vibe.
"Kiss Land symbolizes the tour life, but it's a world that I created in my head. Just like House of Balloons symbolizes Toronto and my experiences there, but it's a world that I created. When I think about Kiss Land, I think about a terrifying place. It's a place I've never been to before that I'm very unfamiliar with. A lot of it is inspired by filmmakers like John Carpenter, David Cronenberg, and Ridley Scott, because they know how to capture fear. That's what Kiss Land is to me, an environment that's just honest fear. I don't know who I am right now and I'm doing all these outlandish things in these settings that I'm not familiar with. To me, it's the most terrifying thing ever. So when you hear the screams in the record and you hear all these horror references and you feel scared, listen to the music because I want you to feel what I'm feeling. Kiss Land is like a horror movie.7"
classic
the way i was a f***ing STAN, and i listened to this the moment it came out and thought it was disappointing; but now 9 years later, i can come back and realize it’s absolutely f***ing TRASH
Going on 10 years later and I’m still not over how perfect the switch is on the title track
Always play this song back
Silky should’ve had a long & fruitful career. Dude had a unique sound
Hearing this without Abels vocals sounds so wrong, Kiss Land is just perfection
