    On some climate change s*** but looking at salvaging the earths soil to help retain co2 rather than leak it into the atmosphere

    But also on the topic of pesticides, I think over the next 20 years there will be a big resurgence in people growing their own fruit/veg and becoming much more self sustaining

    As more research comes out liking diseases to the chemicals they spray into our farms, it makes sense to want to know where your food comes From

    I’m more than down for copping an allotment and growing a cucumber or 2 🥒

    growing ur own veg is hard af btw especially now that the soil is littered with microplastics that reduce the plants ability to absorb nutrients

    There was a huge "carbon capture" forest that was supposed to sequester carbon for 100 years.

    It just burned down last week due to the fires on the west coast

    Even look at the type of new real estate going up. More apartment and townhouse living. Houses being built as close together as possible. Extremely hard unless you're moving to rural areas and those areas lack job opportunities and convenience.

    Urban farming could be the wave if urban areas weren't already filled with pollution.
