i dont know kobe or loved the game for basketball as much as my peers so its hard to get realistically emotional, but watching NBA players grieve shows there is real brotherhood in this league.I watched doc rivers breaking into tears and I could feel the emotion. I could feel the love he had for Kobe. Kobe was like a father figure in a sense to some of these players. An icon that a lot of young athletes look up to on and off the court. Kobe was a father and a husband. I know what its like to lose a family member. It's one of the worst feelings ever. With that being said, I hope his wife and kids find peace in this terrible tragedy!

Was playing ball when someone checked their phone between games and told us. Most of the people at the court didn’t believe it and started crying.

Yea, Gigi dying has been haunting me all day. Kobe’s death was awful and shocking, but he lived a great life and accomplished so much. Gigi’s life was just starting, its horrible beyond words smh. Too tragic to even take in.
