apparently he said he gave him one check for the artwork just for the album art but then he didnt receive anything for all of the merch sold or posters and s*** like that. then he kept going and was calling him out and saying he was a pedo and saying he wanted him to draw the kids nude and doing s*** which idk how true that actually is because when he was ranting about it he was just pissed af but he did call him out on that

He wrote that he agreed on making the art for the booklet, but then he found that his art was used on the tour hoodies shirts and everything and that was not what they agreed on. They were capitalising vastly of his art and he didn’t get any share of that. So I remember that he took it to twitter and instagram to let people know. He posted screenshots of conversations that showed that Cole and DreamVille stopped replying and such, and he became fed up with the whole situation. I remember that he got angry because DreamVille and Cole have this image of standing up for independent black artists and being woke and stuff, but according to him at the time, they showed the same exploitative and abusive behaviour that everybody complains about. In the end, sixmau decided to leave it in the past, ignore the bullshit, and focus on his art again. He changed his instagram handle around the same time and I never seen him speak on the subject matter again, though I believe that it never got settled properly. Anyway, @poorteffy is a talented artist and I’m not too much of a Cole fan anyhow, so this situation was enough for me to stop streaming KOD.

Same, but please keep in mind that this is one perspective to it. I am sure that there is truth in the words of poorteffy, but it might have been a result of bad management and communications, rather than bad intentions. I would not know. However, still, for a major label, it is bad to cut a relatively small artist off like that, especially because he is not in the position to do anything about it. I just wanted to give you an insight in all this so that you know, but of course you can still respect the bars on the album and stuff.
