I agree that if we don’t protect our queens we don’t have s***. The facts of the situation are the FBI and CIA used feminism as a sleeper agent to divide the masses during the civil rights movement. While it’s not decades into the future so we cannot see the declassified documents for how they handled last summer’s movement, I can see the parallels of the same kind of thing taking place. I’m just not gonna be naive and dismiss it as coincidence when they were already telling us for years that other countries governments were using social media to escalate tensions in the U.S

where are your facts to prove that. And if you like others say Gloria Steinem, shawty wasn't even a part of the CIA when the civil rights movement was going on.

Was Elaine Brown a part of the problem when she did what she did? Because...black women were very VERY vocal about the problems of misogyny and sexism they were going through within the black panther party during that time. Eldridge Cleaver was a f***ing loser and scumbag in every form of fashion.

Malcolm X was not part of the problem he was just spitting facts. Black women are still the most underserved. They literally lead every movement. My only point is we allowed an isolated incident between celebs to take the spotlight off of the work we were doing together. Obviously more work needs to be done and the s*** wasn’t perfect but we’re more divided now than we were 8 months ago and the social media coverage of the Meg/Tory s*** is partially to blame

we were always divided. and it's mostly because of black men like you thinking social media coverage of the meg/tory s*** is to blame and not because of black women feeling like for decades and years their complaints (which is still to this day) haven't been taken into consideration.

the "united-ness" you're talking about 8 months ago never happened lol. Niggas was divided over Rayshard Brooks during that same time cause he had charges of domestic violence and abuse.

I do agree with this. We definitely was making progress, on sm we finally started to see black men and women stand together then Meg got shot, and things did get shacky. We shouldn’t had loss all that progress made over 2 celebrities. But at the same time I understand where black women are coming from with their anger. I just feel like they should go about it differently. Downing black men because of 1 midget isn’t helping. It just comes off as you attacking us. I don’t have the answers but I just hope one day we can get back to moving forward.

You’re one of them social media mfs who don’t believe in nuance I guess. Idk if you know but society does not operate in a vacuum. More than one thing can be true at once. The vast majority of the U.S’s Black population STOOD TOGETHER AND UNITED primarily in the names of George Floyd AND Breonna Taylor. We were not living in some utopia but we were the most together we’d been in my life. That amount of togetherness is gone now. Some of the residual effects are still felt now tho thankfully
