Theres always more levels
Jay has shown this. And don’t think he doesn’t have mentors of his own
Nah but fr imagine if one or even BOTH took Kodak under their wing and gave him some game, helped redirect him and get him to throw away certain ways and he applies everything they tell him. Kodak already hella talented and has shown it since his first mainstream showing. He can blow up even more and then truly be even more of a star.
I feel like Nas would've already embraced him if it wasn't for the rape charge if he already made songs with Fivio and A Boogie, there's no other reason he'd ignore Kodak
You 23 u dont need a mentor nigga
unfortunately he very much does in general with the type of poor decisions he makes
23 is also still young. a mentor at that age in a lot of careers would be extremely helpful. there's always someone who knows more than you and can assist your development

Agreed. That’s the thing they’ve all had sketchy situations they have attached to their names but NAS and Drake are more widely accepted and marketable than Kodak currently is but is he stopped certain things, broke certain habits and changed a few things about his image Kodak would be outta here with the right people guiding and molding him

Many people older than 23 still have mentors though.

Would be an amazing song for plenty of reasons
Nas and Drake would finally have a song
Drake and Kodak would finally have a song
Nas and Kodak would be interesting to hear and finally have a song
It would be a Big look for Kodak if he came correct on it like we know he can
And it would definitely take over the summer

THIS! Even Diddy has a mentor and he did an interview with one on CAMERA. You know how big that is for Diddy of all people to NOT only be humble enough to have a mentor but THEN HE SHOWED a moment of humility and vulnerability by showing everyone else that he still has people who’s guidance he has assisting him and to put it out for OTHERS to witness forever? That’s crazy when you think about it.
Edit: for those you want to see the interview that I’m talking about of Diddy and HIS MENTOR Ray Dialo the 'author of the book' Principles here’s the link

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSaXRE2pmWIOh I’m sorry. I meant a song with just THEM by themselves. I know about the one they did with Nicki. Like Drake has multiple with Jay and it’s basically a cultural event when it happens but Nas and Drake can’t say the same for their pairing because they don’t a collaboration together. My apologies for not providing more clarity into what I meant by my comment before posting. That probably would have been easier to understand my initial point
Nas been ignoring that dude for a minute tho ngl
Damn fam u got all these receipt screenshots on deck might be a bigger Yak fan then me!

I f*** with Earl but he was lame for that
Would be dope if Nas mentored him tbh
I feel like Kodak needs a good role model more than anything

He usually shows Drake love, I'm sure he regrets that comment.
