looks like its a take on an estranged couple reliving past memories and life (therapy) to 'refind' their selves again, and so rekindle their flame again or something. as if the twist at the end of the movie is supposed to show that all of it was just relationship therapy all along, just in a fantastical way
but also, the trailer falls a bit flat for me.
Director: Kogonada
Writer: Seth Reiss (“The Menu”)
My Log-line based on synopsis:
Two strangers embark on a journey together visiting the past, present and future to determine wether or not they should be together.
So they made an unironic Charlie Kaufman film

it's more like Zach Braff
yeah this was pretty forgettable, started off kinda funny with Phoebe Waller Bridge but then quickly fell off
So so so bad
It just felt like everyone was the wrong fit. This shouldn’t be directed by Koganada. It should be directed by Andy Samberg, and it should star Andy Samberg opposite some brunette chick who looks like she has BPD. The leads have zero chemistry. We haven’t seen quirk levels this high since Garden State. And… this is a much worse film than Garden State. Pretty much a total misfire.
was I wrong

Samberg and Taylor Tomlinson doing this would've been insane
She could’ve told him she was a murderer and he would’ve justified it lol. Just ignoring every red flag
