Something I have noticed about this site after lurking for a while is there really is a lack of Asian voices and opinions on here... Sometimes i'll see a thread regarding some Asian s*** or issue and it's literally just a bunch of non Asian people commenting on the s***
Probably just noticed cause I feel strongly about some of the stuff but yea we need more Asians on this site fr haha

that’s why whenever some controversial asian s*** pop up on here i usually just ignore it cause i know ima read something that will piss me off from some non asian poster being ignorant/generalizing all asians as being racist or white.

this is gonna sound kinda f***ed up but honestly with the way I seen Asian voices on this site get minimized and trivialized sometimes it doesn't surprise me that people act different races or whatever. NOT TRYING TO JUSTIFY IT, but it just makes me laugh because I have seen the same phenomena in real life.
People try to discredit you for being whatever whatever so people pretend to be something else.
Idk man, really I'm trying to take a more empathetic angle on my perspective these days but i just don't like writing people off
I appreciate this conversation cause it made me think deeper about this
